Summer Update

This past month as been packed... and now school for Matt starts back up next week.. Summer has flown.

We are now officially meeting weekly at De Soto Community Church. It's exciting as things are really beginning to take shape as we start in on our journey. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we continue to seek God's will for our church. Also, pray for some of the basics that sometimes we take forgranted.. funds, workers, supplies...

Besides the church, summer has been good to us. Matt and I have enjoyed a lot of time together and w/ family and friends. We have continued to explore all that Kansas City has to offer (We love KC!) and love the time we spend with our newest addition to the family, our little puppy... Aldo:) If I haven't mentioned him he's a mix between a shih tzu and a poodle. His coloring is mostly white with brown and grey mixed in, especially on his face. He's so sweet and has been a blast. He's four months old:) Although he is looking a little shaggy, he will be getting a haircut tomorrow, then maybe he'll be able to see again!

This weekend we are getting ready for my mom to come visit and will be celebrating Matt's 27th birthday a week from today, Aug. 19. I CAN'T WAIT to give him his birthday present.. I wish I could say what it is...but I never know who's eyes might be reading this:)
